A bit on the boring side. I bought a few adult color by number books and I ALWAYS go to this one LAST. The idea of getting an opportunity to be creative and testing colors on a separate page is great with that option of coloring another Mandala unassisted. But the pages are not great, although they do give a great preface warning you that the pages allow for bleeding of markers (impressive). But the color guide is at the back of the book. Great that they tell you where they take the guide from! All in all the book instructions are the best I have seen so far! But the pictures in the book, the pages not perforated and poor page quality and the front cover are not impressive.

Excellent book. Would buy again.
This book is great because it gives you the same design twice. One with numbers and one without. It also give you a page to sample the colors your going to combine. Would definitely recommend this.
I love this color by number book!! The final pictures turn out beautiful! I did purchase the prismacolor colored pencils recommended on the back of the book because I am guaranteed to have the exact color on the picture.
This is the second book by C,R. Gilbert I have purchased. I loved the first one, and wasn't disappointed with this one. This one is a bit more "complex" than the other, but still a great coloring book for beginners. I really like that I have a choice of whether to color a page with numbers or not and the numbers are easy to read.
Love the intricate pictures and designs. The book is a 2 in one so that is great and big enough so that you can frame the pictures after you color them. Oh and let me not forget the quality of the paper which is excellent for both markers and pencils!
Good paper. The two guide pages could easily be on one page. Pull out and use for reference while coloring. A bit pricier than what I usually buy. These are done w pencils.
