I've never read anything like "The Legacy". Samuri warrior family heritage and Manga were completely foreign concepts to me, yet the author did a wonderful job of not only drawing me into the story, but also making me feel comfortable and familair with these new topics. Even though this story is a novella, it's proportion and storyline were perfect, it made me want to immediatley pick up the next book in the series! The pull between the main characters was natural, everything about the story was wonderful. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a great short read with some great character development and family history.

Very good reading.....I know this author personally
It was a nice shirt story but after reading her previous book The Samurai's Garden I wanted more. Maybe flashbacks from members of the entire Tanaka family and more romance between Andy and Leigh. I wonder save my .99 for something else.
A very slow pace novel, the hope that there was a history behind the swords never showed up, don't waste your time!
Great read, interesting. Recommend highly. Author is very descriptive. You lose yourself in this interesting book. Hope this author writes many more books of this caliber.
This is a continuation of a previous novel whose main characters are the ancestors of the first book. it is a novella so don;t expect a long read, but it was fun and fast paced and it was cool to see the grandchildren of the people from the first book.
This novella is compelling from the 1st chapter. The author has a way of putting you into the situations & characters in the book and keeping you interested to the end. It is also very informative about Japanese traditions and history.
This is a continuation to the "Samurai's Garden" a few generations in the future. Loved how it portrays the values in a Japanese family, you can feel the closeness, but also the respect between generations. You'll find a little bit of everything in this short book and the author has meshed them well together.
